Wow....Okay...that's CRAZY FAST compared to the original bootup. I did the symlink first but that didn't seem to work as well as the actual copying of the file. Whatever..regardless, it's working super fast now..cut the boottime on my iBook by about a minute and a half :)

I'd buy a keyboard cover type thing from OWC or some other place just in case, it's worth the $10-$20. I've seen many a laptop with imprints of the keys on the lcd display...so eh...I have one for my 14" iBook and so far so good, have had it for a year with no screen indents and it's heavily used.

depending on the speed of your windows machine...it's way faster than VPC..due to the fact that there is less overhead..and it's just a VNC connection :) I use it often and it actually works pretty flawlessy, even over my wireless connection.

lmfao...I just went out and got techtool pro 4....it took about 2 hours to do all the file system check and defragmentation...but it seemes to work flawlessy...I think i'll probably end up using it a few times a year..but eh, it was worth it in my opinion :) And Fryke, What the hell is a...

OWC(otherworldcomputering.com i believe?) sells a great little keyboard cover to protect your keys from rubbing up against your LCD..i got one for my ibook, it cost me about $15 :)

I don't see why there is a big controversy about this company. It's just another small-midsize company trying to make a name for itself by selling really overclocked and "pimped" out computers. It's no different than Falcon Northwest, or Voodoo Pc, or Alienware even...except that it seems to be...

Heh..you aren't alone. The game performs terribly on the PC as well..it was a horrible port and even with the latest hardware it will chug and lag away on a pc, so I can only imagine how it performs on the mac. It's a port of a port of a port :( Bleh....You aren't alone.

Heh....It's pretty slow unless you have a really fast machine like most have mentioned, but if you are just doing basic tasks...then i'd recommend it, but only for applications that you can't afford or aren't out for mac os x. Otherwise...save your money and the frustration with VPC. :)
