Im all for customization of form elements with CSS. Why? because if you can code input buttons that look they way you want them to, you dont have to add all the extra code needed to make an image have the same functionality...not to mention the image dependency makes a page less portable than...

If you have a selection to fill, hit shift-delete, or apple-delete for a dialog. Its a good habit.. I dont think I've used the paint bucket for years.

OK, on further investigation, it looks like png files that are encoded into html work fine, but png files that are just linked to as files without any html are not working...hmmm....

Am I missing the QuickTime plug-in? I always get the save as dialog, and when I tell it to choose application, Preview is greyed out and QT is greyed out. So I save it and then I can open it with Preview/QT from the finder... What a hassle. Has anyone figured out how to get IE to show PNG...

Ahh, thanks for the insights. I'll search next time. For now, I'm thinking my first script will be an "update remote folder" script. The idea is there is a folder on my machine that has all my local files (Web page stuff), and when I run the update script it ftps and 'cleans' up the remote...
