yes, I really think Apple should get out patches to fix the Mac OS X exploits that can corrupt memory and possibly cause data loss as well as those that cause privilage escalation and thus result in a root shell...there is at least one exploit for each of those cases with public proof of concept...

Why is it that there still has been just one patch released from Apple (that one that fixed the QuickTime exploit) to address just one of the many Month of Apple Bugs? These bugs need to be fixed and I really hope that Apple is actively working on patches for all of the exploits related to Mac...

Alright well I've had the Belkin UPS for a while now and I'm very happy with it :) ...the only issue at first was that the plug didn't fit smugly into the outlet such that if the plug was left alone it'd slip out...this was resolved simply enough though by plugging one of those outlet extenders...

also, how does ups automatic shutdown handle a password protected screensaver? will it shutdown fine even if the screensaver is activated and usually needs a password before the screensaver will close? thanks! :)

Just found out about this, very cool...been here for quite a while too...go here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120243#English ...that is a MacOS 9 netboot image...download it...double click the NetBoot.dmg image so it mounts, go into the mounted image, go into the English...
