i tried doing the usual cut and paste and it doesnt seem to work. is there another way? also, when i restart finder, the drive icons change position on the desktop. is there a way to lock them in position? thanks in davance

actually before i switched to the mac, i was a big NFS freak... i also loved diablo 2 and starcraft which work really well for me. just wish they had a comparable series or a port to the mac of NFS.

i havent upgraded to 10.2 but i do have an agfa snapscan 1212u flatbed using scanwise x. i do like the output from the scanner and it works reasonably well... i will tell u when i get 10.2 how it works.

i feel your pain... when i bought my 867 tower, i bought it from apple.com with a creative sound blaster card. not realizing there is no support to this day for os x users... im still waiting for an update...

that is totally excellent :) makes me wish i could go back to my college days with my iBook and iPod in tow :) we need more converts... im sick of people or friends i know telling me that macs sucks... or why did i get a mac? the only thing i miss about PCs is games.. thats it :)

I did a search throuh /library/Screen Saver/ and also using Sherlock but I cant find those pics. Any idea where I can locate them? TIA

thats the weird thing... for the first day i had installed it and it didnt stutter at all. and the version is 1.31 (beta)... i didnt do anything different. i dont want to reinstall it but i think i might have to. oh well.

now im getting stuttering sounds when i play the game.. visually things look unchanged. any idea whats up? its kinda bugging the heck out of me. TIA

to get fps, go to console "~" then hit enter "/cg_drawFPS "1" in the upper right hand corner you should get the fps in RT.
