    Window resizing in the Finder...

Hello, As far as I know, there is no way to do this. BUT. to get around this little annoyance, just create an AppleScript that resizes the window and places it in the correct spot on the screen. Then, put the script in your toolbar. I'd send you mine, but I'm on a school PC right now...

    ResExcellence.com killed by Staff

Last year, ResEx said that they were selling the site - bidding started at about $1,000,000. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

How is new iMac w/ games?

Games aren't a huge thing for me, but I would like to be able to open any game (for at least a year) and know it'll run on my iMac. Also, it would be great to run OS X a little faster that molasses in January.

How is new iMac w/ games?

Wonderful. Now I know that it really will be a huge step up. My trusty 400 MHz iMac is really aging, and it'll be great to finally have a comp that can actually run a game any newer that UT well :D

How is new iMac w/ games?

Hello, I'm thinking of getting an iMac in a few months. A big thing for me is how well it will run current and future games. Anyway, how well does the iMac run recent games (such as Wolfenstein)? Chris

    MacOS X Screen Saver?!

Hello, There are quite a few screensavers built into OS X. They can all be accessed through the "Screensavers" panel in Sys Prefs. There is the default one that shows your name and an Apple logo, then there's flying icons, and a whole buch of slideshows. New ones can be added easily -...

OmniWeb only remembers the window position if you choose the menu item "Remember Window Position." I'm not sure which menu it's in (I'm in OS 9 right now).

What program fo you use for the net??

I've always used OmniWeb, because it's the most aqua-ish browser, despite the speed problems.

I'll bet $100 that there are no menu effects other than fade in OS X.

    Dangerous OS X Badge

Back in the days of OS 9, there was something similar to that in the Mac OS ROM file. Open it in BBEdit, and up pops a huge Mac logo :D While we're on the subject: has anyone found any other ASCII images in the OS?

    Theme Problem

Hey, I recently tried out the DSX theme. A few minutes later, I switched back to the default Aqua. The little column resize handles and toolbar pop-up menus in the Finder remained dark (like DSX). I re-installed the Finder from a backup I had, and the problem was solved. Next step: the...

nVidia GeForce2 MX 32MB in the new iMacs

Descent, Oni, Quake III, and UT all run fine on my comp, and I'm on a old 400 MHz iMac w/ a Rage 128 card. It would make sense that a computer with a processor over 2x the speed and a card 3x the speed (the iLamp) would do wonderfully!

    The New Itunes

There *was* a problem with iTunes 2.0.0 in Mac OS X - the installer might totally erase your hard drive. (!!!) But the updates have fixed the problem.

Drop Shadow Behind File Names on Desktop

A while ago I saw how to turn off the drop shadows behind file names on the desktop. Now I want to do that, but I forgot where I saw the tutorial! Could someone tell me how to do it?
