    Changing "Custom User Text"?

    Thanks for the suggestion. I read another forum that is "powered by vBulliten" and the custom user text field is directly below the birthdate field. I'm not seeing it on my "edit profile" page here. Maybe you have to have a minimum number of posts now...

    Changing "Custom User Text"?

    I read the FAQ on changing custom user text, but the field doesn't appear in my edit options (or at least I can't find it). Is there a minimum number of posts required before you can change this? Thanks

    Opening Quicksilver CD-R

    Thanks dricci and appledoc! That mouse button trick works for stuck zip disks as well!

    Opening Quicksilver CD-R

    Is there a button (besides the keyboard button) or a way on the Quicksilver that will open the CD-R? Is there a way to open the CD-R during the boot process? It is extremely annoying to have to boot into an OS to swap CDs. What's the matter with Apple that they have stopped putting a...

    OS X --> Windows LAN

    Cannot mount my OS9 Partition For Install

    I don't remember -- if the default is to "install OS9 drivers", then I probably did. It won't let me install them now.

    Cannot mount my OS9 Partition For Install

    I got a new G4 with a 40 gig hd last week. The first thing I did was put in the OSX install CD, wipe the hd, and make 3 partitions: OSX (20gig, HFS+), OS9(10gig, HFS), and Free space (10gig unformatted). I easily installed OSX on the OSX partition, then put the OS9 disk in and rebooted from...

    Virtual PC Upgrade Question

    I recently updated to OS X from 9.0 on a 350MHz G4. I was running VPC 3.0 under OS 9.0, and it seemed pretty slow. I was just about to upgrade to VPC 5.0, but read that in order to run under X it requires a 400MHz processor. My question is, will I see a significant improvement running VPC...
