Anyone know how to uninstall Quicktime 6 in OSX? I noticed after I installed it that it isn't intended for production use, IE Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio work. I haven't tried anything yet in Final Cut or DVD Studio to see if there are any problems, I just freaked out when I saw that. I wonder...

I'd say TIFF is the best too. That's what I use for all my publishing files. It's nice because it lets you keep a very nice image and compress it as well. Other than that, I use the Photoshop format if there are any layers, and the PICT format if I want others to see the image but keep it...

I had the same problem too on a machine even with a fresh install of OSX and immediately doing all the updates. OS9 kept the time perfectly fine though. I ended up reformating and reinstalling again and it's worked like a charm since then.

Try "Peak" from Bias. http://www.bias-inc.com/ They've got some good software, I use the bundled Peak DV that comes with Final Cut Pro 3. It works really well.
