Just installed StuffItDeluxe 6.5.1 and somehow I don't have the StuffCM which was supposed to be added. I do have a Contextual Menu directory but there is nothing in it. How can you enable StuffCM with X.1?

Holding the option key at bootup on newer Macs gives you a splashscreen of the different startup volumes you can start from. But that does not work on a beige G3, doesn't work on my Lombard either. Have you tried zapping PRAM?

There was a thread somewhere else where in the startup disc the 9.2 system was grayed out. It was fixed by leaving the preference pane open then start classic and then you should be able to change your startup disc. Maybe try that? Or can't you even start classic?

I guess that must be the same as booting into single user mode and running the fsck. You will have to do that also several times until you get an okay. But I have not noticed any speed gain after a complete fix.

I got DragThing. It does a very good job kind of spring folders did in 9. I always had the feeling that it really takes to long to navigate through the Apps-folder, even in 9, to get to the app I wanted. That is why I used to have springfolders for my apps, which I then could easily reach...

Well, it is running okay on my 333 Lombard. I would suggest to get some more Ram. It was paging out a lot when I had 192 MB installed. Now with 384 isntalled it is running much smoother.

I had problems like that running 10.0.4, checking the OSX partion with NU6 resulted in some major errors within the cataloque and some files. After reparing them I never had a problem since. I would give NU6 a try before reinstalling the whole thing.

After updating to 0.1 I reinstalled ssh.2.5.2p2 plus the ssh-admin tool. After that somehow I can not log into my XBox via ssh anymore. Somehow my password is not excepted. Any idea what to do to get ssh running correctly again?
