Actually, every partition on my 20gb drive is HFS+. And I've never logged out or even restarted my computer since installing X yesterday morning, so I'm still logged in as the same person. Still perculiar eh?

Actually I couldn't find one for Beta either, just installed the one for DP4. Works fine.

I've had no problems with Fire. The new version 15 adds more features and it seemed to stop that disconnect I got a few times on the aol servers. 15 also supports a new installer.

or just use OpenUp for .tar.gz, .zip, and some .sit files. Don't use stuffit under classic because it will corrupt the .sit files. Stuffit for X seems to work fine cuz it unstuffed macster fine.

Classic won't work as in.... you have one hard drive, and format the whole thing UFS.

UFS is better if you run OS X server. You can use all the unix commands under the terminal if your drive is UFS. But if you decide on UFS for OS X, you will not be able to run classic.

Well, there is no unix version cuz of the whole DECSS battle going on. And secondly, no one has written one yet for OS X. There most likely won't be one until final comes along, since it's usually Apple that supplies it.
