no its not just lift up your keyboard its under the airport card tray...you'll need a little screw driver to get the tray out ... and the DIMM pops right in..... the whole process is documented in the books that came with the ibook .. or go here for instructions...

Go with the ibook and add a 512 stick of RAM --- I am running the 500 mhz model with 640 megs and a 40 gig travel star 5400 rpm 8 megs cache HD and I love it !! Runs awesome with no issues .. I use allot of picture/photo utilities and simple editing, you'll never know the difference.

I noticed that but the hax or little app that I had once would make it look like --- say a negative of a photo.. That the best way I know to describe it .... anyway I have searched all over ---but can't remember the name of it for the world... :-)
