*sigh* I had a feeling. Now that its shipping to retail stores I'm pretty sure too. CD burning has been broken on my computer in 6c35, 6c98, 6c106, AND 6c115. I haven't tested a single build where it has worked (other than 10.1.X) Has anybody else had this same experience?

I HOPE 6c115 is not the golden master. I've looked over the build and there doesn't apear to be anything that makes it seem like it wouldn't (image capture's credits are no longer a mockery), but my CD burner is still broken.

That and the anti-aliasing was done better so that it apears sharper. With the sharper redone interface and the better text anti-aliasing, the whole system looks just a bit better in Jaguar.

In the first place its a universal acess feature, not a theme. It still exists, but since its not a theme it actually makes ALL graphics white on black including pictures ect. It also makes the computer run dog slow. In other words its not exactly an asthetic option.

I can't burn CD's PERIOD in 6c98. I was snooping around my old system for the CD drivers so I could maybe fix it, but I couldn't find them. I put a blank CD in the drive and it says my CD burner is not compatable. But then how the hell did it detect I put in a blank CD in the first place...

I don't think my next computer will have any of those...But 266 ddr ram MAYBE.

hmm...I don't know. I could test Jaguar on my B&W G3 with a Rage 128 and see what happens. If you look on Apple site, however, it seems to imply you WILL get a graphics speed boost. Apples Jaguar Site Look on the bottom of the page.

Yeah. I'm a developer and I have to say it is NOT bloat. In the first developer package Apple sent me OS9. 16 CD's. Thats right! 16! OS9 needs to have its own CD for EVERY language. OSX has all languages on one CD. Thats's why it seems so much larger.

.mac isn't a bad deal if you're actually using the site for something usefull. When it first was announced I cringed, but now I'm actually subscribed because I needed to set up a rather large project for a group I'm involved with. I don't find 100MB for 50 bucks bad at all. And the speed is...

Trackpads wouldn't work. Try moving a pen around on it, nothing happens. I believe they are heat sensitive, not touch sensitive. Or maybe I'm wrong about this. I hope I am.
