When iMovie renders a slow-motion scene it just duplicates each frame so the movement gets jerky. You get smoother motion with 3rd party utilities like JES Deinterlacer or Slow Motion Smoother. vacmac

Be sure to play it once, selecting the music and clicking on the Save Setting button first. Then play again to make sure the audio is playing in iPhoto. The go the Export->QT route again. That should get the audio to export also. vacmac

Try deleting the Disc burner preferences in user/library/preferences and library/preferences if they exits. They will be titled something like com.apple.discburner.plist (Remeber-the USER library-not the HD library) vacmac
