    been waiting about 15 minutes.......maybe another bug in Leopard perhaps..? It is showing the Network Startup option but that's it...also strange that it shows all boot volumes in XP but not in OSX...

    Just installed Windows XP SP2 on my Macbook Pro (Leopard) and both are working beautifully. The only problem is that in order for me to boot to OSX I need to hold down the Option key and select it. Tried going into System Preferences > Startup Disk but alas not startup disk for OSX or Windows...

    For some reason I am unable to see the default Documents folder under /Users/<username>. I can see the alias in my side bar and by "Getting Info" on the alias I can see that it points to /Users/<username>. Any ideas on how I can unhide this folder. If i look in Terminal i see the following...

    samba shares slow

    can't recall it being this slow when running Tiger. The problem I have is all file sharing is done through linux here so rely on it quite a bit. Wasn't sure if there were known issues with Leopard or not. Thanks for your input though.

    samba shares slow

    hoping someone out there in cyberspace can help me...just upgraded to OSX Leopard (silly me) and find that accessing files from a samba share in finder are really slow...around 24kb/s. If i scp files using terminal this seems much better at around 9mb/s....is this another flaw in Leopard....?
