Ive had a mac for almost 6months now, ive never had anywhere near the problems ive had with a windows based PC. Easy, FAST, its completly USER friendly. But you should updated all your firmware and do a APPLE UPDATER to make sure your UP TO DATE on all your software. Ill never go back to buying...

they showed black pictures of that same ipod a few weeks ago, and actual screen play on it. i really believe its possible. also macrumors.com showed the virtual touchwheel can be shown or invisible. and when your not playin video, it makes the ipod look like a 5g ipod video. half the screen...

Im on Charter Cable in Suffolk Va. Works fine im on OS X 10.3.9.....if you have ethernet and a modem should work fine. They had to set it up with an Ethernet, then i was able to go wireless. Are you connected at all? or just cant figure out how to use it?

Im thinkin of also buying a G4 Power mac for a server, dont know which OS ill be running but thinkin 9 since everyone is all praise on that OS. Powermax.com is where im buying mine from, thinkin of dual 400mhz one. Still debating which to get or just get an 800mhz ibook and call it a day.

sad thing is, my neighbor had a set of those disks, we just cleaned out his computer room a while back, and threw them out. didnt think anyone would buy them on ebay. lol. Shoulda kept them..... Im sure somone has some they can duplicate or sell ya.

I personally never though bout running 2 routers, easier just to run a wireless expander IMO..... but whatever works IMO i like less room for error.

i have the ipod mini, love it, 4gb is wayy more then enough room. i acutally sleep with mine playing and set the timer so it turns off and the alarm to start playin music so i wake up. haha, pretty crazzy, but a waterproof one...hmm thats a possibility there. actually u could make one yourself...

there are alot of sites that show you how to take apart the ipods and change the hdd, batteries, etc. www.ipodgarage.com has some info, also there are sites that u can send the ipod in and for $99 repairs the hdd and new batteries installed.....just a thought. Applecare is supposed to be one...
