    Skype Headset Recommendations

I really like my Plantronics GameCon | Pro 1. Amazing sound - comfy to wear - nice boom mike and no drivers to install. Just plug and go. It is about 80 Bucks and worth the cash for use with Skype. It is USB based and I use the set for Skype/iChat.

iWeb pages problems with Windows pc's

Not sure to be honest. However, in my experience (such as it is) you are missing supporting files. Question marks usually indicate place holders for graphics etc. So the site is there, the files for the pictures are not. Cheers

mac os x network/internet/print sharing via linksys router

I agree.. just share the printer on the Mini - the Macbook should see the share printer without having to create a computer to computer network. I do this at my house. However, a computer to computer network will kill the primary network. All the name resolution/dhcp etc done by the router...

    Remote login/ remote desktop

Do you know the IP address of the G4? You could try to put VNC on that G3 HD then try to boot inside the G4. But without a monitor attached to the G4 - I would be guessing.

    Router connections

Yup..log in to your router. Click on the ADministration entry at the top. Click on LOG beneath that. there there are two options - incoming and outgoing log. Of course, you probably need to enable it first.

    Router connections

The only way to do it is to check the log on the router... unless you have a pretty highend firewall that can email the logs to an account.

    10.4.6 upgrades problems

I am very comforatable saying that the update, as coincidental as it seems, didn't break the PB. I have both a G4 tower and a PB as well, and they both connect to my PC server where I located our backup directories. Both Macs are running .6 update. BUT saying that and having it work are two...

Apple File Sharing over the Internet

The DSL would be the IP address to use. Then, the NAT table in your router would direct the appropriate packets to the internal IP address based on port association.

    Entourage

IT sounds like you have an email(s) that are causing the crash. Try to rebuild your folders. Then check your sent folder - you might have to open each one.. OR you could create a second folder - call it sent2 - and move all the docs from sent to Sent2 - see if that makes it crash - if it...

Apple File Sharing over the Internet

Whew.. there isn't snap answer to this, but I will try: On the mac you are going to share, you will need to assign it a static IP address and not use DHCP. This provides a consistant IP address which will not change on reboot/crash. The static IP address is assigned in the Network under...
