Ok, all sorted now thanks for your help. Went into root and checked if apple apps worked inthere, they did, came out and bby some chance they all satrted working again in admin account!!!

Hi, yes, tried different user but when I click on users in System preferences I just got the spinning wheel!!

Pardon me, I actually burnt a Bootable CD and included Disk Utility on it. I can't use disk utility on my hard drive - I just get the spinning wheel!! So, I did a repair permissions from that CD. I'd say I restarted about 2 days before installing G-Force. Regards, Paul :o
