Hold the "apple key" & the "alt key" then click on the app icon in the dock (eg the phpotoshop icon) to hide all other windows. hope this helps

I had a similar problem with Linux PPC and my cd drive. zapping the PRAM resolved the problem. You should try that...it might work

Hi, i cant view Desktop using List View, if i try to then that particular window will frezze. everything else is unaffected. i can view the Desltop folder in Colums and Icon views....i can view every other folder in List view except the Desktop folder It is a small problem but its freaking...

try this...in the terminal app type cd / then type sudo chmod 775 Applications enter your password this should work

when i save an image using Internet Explorer it creates its own preview icon making the file sometimes up to 4 times as big as it should be. My question is, is there any way to stop IE from making these perview icons and use the default "Preview app" icon instead. thanks
