As I observe Jaguar in work I'm still finding little hiccups while, for example, browsing shares of my PC with MAC. Jaguar slows down makes itself almost unusable. It does not make any sense for me while I'm working in 100MBPs enviroment (crossed-cable connection). Am I alone with that?

I got it! you can use more "1-st file" >> "result-file" and then "2-nd file" >> "result-file" and you'll get the same! Remember, result file should be empty at the beggining.

On PC is easier, just type copy a.avi+b.avi c.avi in the shell and you'll get combined file. If only cp command could do the same... :rolleyes:

You can change priority of VPC process, or make some tricks inside WIndows to make it run faster. I discovered that for speed problems you can blame ...graphic algorythms of VPC. Processing of requests does not take long, just drawing resoult on the screen is real pain. That's why you should...

I agree. I switched from PC to Mac 2 weeks ago (I fall in love with G4 PB). I'm UNIX/Win geek, having more than 15 e-mail addresses, but all I need and all I'm proud of is my @mac account.
