    You dont have a radeon. That is probably the problem. It is an ATi Rage Mobility. I am almost positive that Ati does not have unified driver archeitecture also....

    the sticks suck and so does the HK iSub.... I would suggest the Champagne series... when your buying the sticks and isub you buying the looks not great sound...

    "PCI "enabler" programs to get qualifying PCI-based Radeons, etc. to run QE? " shouldnt OSX auto recoginize hardware acceleration? I have a powerbook G3 500mhz, (128MB ram- 384MB tommorow) and it runs fine, just chokes whith more than one app (but I think thats more due to lack of ram)...

    go to system preferences ->general -> at the bottom "Font Smoothing Style" set to "standard- best for CRT"... If that is what its set at, change it to the lcd settings... Accually I think the stronger AntiAliasing (LCD Setting) is better for CRT...

    dual video display with radeon 8500

    flashing a "winblows" BIOS to your APPLE card is not a good idea. This is probably the reason you are not getting dual display. And if memory serves correct, you cannot have a DVI and VGA output at the same time. If you want to do dual monitors, your card should have come with a VGA or DVI...
