They're probably not seated properly - take 'em all out and put them back in, making sure both sides snap into place. I have 768 MB in my Beige G3/300 Desktop (overclocked to 333) and all is fine.

Go to www.umax.co.uk - they have the latest driver, which is 3.7.5 - it works fine with 9.2.2 and the 1220U (I use both at work).
