Seems to me like its M$' fault that the icons get messed up. The first time i saw the black striped icons wuz after having installed Office v. X. I found out that theres an easy way to get the "not messed up icons" (nmui) back: Open the Info-Box, select the file with the messed up icon, copy...

actually there are blue screens in nt based windoze systems. they just won't appear too often. mostly, windoze nt just freezes, or restarts tha peecee.

Since I updated to OS X 10.1.1, the system often screws up document and folder icons, especially the classic system folder. It doesn't change the icons, but when I look at them in the finder, some of them are crossed by black lines. Everythings ok again when I restart, but some hours later, the...

I don't mind the brushed metall look of Sherlock, but I mind that there's no "stop" button in OS X' Sherlock. :rolleyes:

Is it possible to run VPC 4 in classic mode? I guess it would b much faster then VP4 running directly under X. Unfortunately, when I startup classic VPC 4, it says that it cannot b run under OS X. This sux. :mad: As long as the VPC OS X version is so slow and so expensive, I won't upgrade...

The number of colors used for icons and system stuff has nothing to do with the graphics card. U can even set windows to 16,7 millions of colors, and u would still have the same ugly icons :D They just don't have any good gui designers
