I understand that MacOS X 4.2 along with FCP 5 does not recognise the ADVC-100 analogue to digital converter from Canopus. Is this true?

The way I did this was to get all my contacts onto Plaxo. (www.plaxo.com) then downlaod the whole thing back into address book.
