Thank you for the advice! I think what is happening with my Apple is a manufacturer defect. I bought a Powerbook G4 that busted in 2 days, and was told it was a faulty logic board. Apple kindly replaced it with a new laptop, but it's now been 4 months and the same symptoms are slowly starting...

I have heard wonderful things about this site, so I signed on because I was experiencing problems with my new Apple. I submitted my issue in the question/reponse area and got a response back from a technician that was just unacceptable. It was the rudest service I think I have ever recieved...
