mmm...UT is for osx? i never knew..

Everytime i switch to os9 to do things i can't do in classic environment the 1st time i switch it always crashes and i have to force restart. And when it restarts it tries to do disk repair which doesnt get anywhere so i always cancel. Any suggestions?

Well in OSX i tried to make an applescript to move all my .mp3's at the end of a day (like daily or something)..heck i even tried making it just move em whenever one appeared in the folder i chose. It always had a syntax error or just did nothing. I tried doing record but that didnt work either...

I read the admiralAK post and learned the basics of terminal, but when I was asking about programming in another post they gave me an example of java thru terminal.....could someone show me a place where I could learn about terminal's uses besides deleting stuff and seeing spyware? Any help...

i built it to try out the game...man thats hard...plus the demo looks fake..how the hell does the copter move that fast? Thats somewhat of a good example, except for one thing...thats not just java.....its cocoa.................so i dont know which part is cocoa or java.

Well it must be case sensitive even for spacing, because once I changed it from "Hello World!" to "HelloWorld" in what to print it said HelloWorld! in Terminal.

I downloaded BlueJ, realbasic, but not python since there were so many versions i wasnt sure which one was for os x. BlueJ downright admitted that this app isn't meant for complete newbies. The only thing CLOSE to java or programming (to me, at least) is applescript(which i always can't seem to...

With mac os x i got the developers cd and installed the software. I'm wondering where i can learn how to use it? because the installed software looks like just a big mess of applications and files, like the library folder =p any help? In an earlier post i was reccomended to use this.

Well... i still kinda think that the guys/girls who made mac os x should have made a few more apps work with the services menu instead of people having to download not-originally-come-with-the-os apps in order to use it.

Someone tell me why in the heck they put in this "services menu" even though everything is grayed out? :confused: I havent seen one mac os x app that can use the services menu. :( If there is, tell me what, or show me how to activate the services menu, because i want to be able to use it. :mad:
