right, but I need my password to start the installation of Tiger. I put the Tiger installation dvd in, and the first thing that it ask for is my admin. username and password. So how can I start installation to get to the reset option if I can't get to it without a password?

Hello, This is my first post so if my ediquote is off I apologize. I am trying to install a new combo drive on my ibook G3. Right now it is just CD-rom and I am upgrading it. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to install a combo drive on your own?
