It has always worked for me by holding down the option key during boot but now it is not working. It just boots into mac os x without allowing me to choose the disk while I am holding option. Any help?

Yes, as I said, whenever I try to set the key combination, it just does F11 (decrease the volume) so it will not let me set it.

Hi, I just bought a new keyboard for my mac, and although it is very sleek (but the keys are smaller), I have a problem. I cannot configure Control-F11 as an application shortcut. It will only decrease the volume when I try to set it as that. Is there a way to do this? (*Better be :D) Thanks.

Actually, at the Apple store and then back at my house I plugged the mouse into the keyboard, I guess that's the cause of the mouse delay.
