I used that have that problem too and I believe it had to do with how AOL zips the files when emailing.... Ever since I upgraded to AOL for MAC OSX this seems to have gone away.

After playing the new aluminum powerbooks... they are definitely much more sturdy and better built than the previous. However... the damn things look like a painted ibook.. the aluminum looks worse than titanium... the 17 is as big as a plane wing... now it looks like one too!
