    Can I use a USB broadband Modem with Mac

    the modem I got from my cable isp is a motorola that is both usb and ethernet. I have never used the usb on it though as I also think ethernet is much better. my dad has dsl and his isp gave him a usb only modem. its not the best.

    imovie, itunes and iphoto are all default osx apps but garage band is not. iphoto 4 only comes with ilfie 04. the iphoto that installs with panther is ver. 2.

    Imagine: not that this would be the problem but 10.3.5 is the newest update and you really should update. if you run this machine in a studio then you want to be sure the os runs the best possible.

    I used one of them (can't remember which one) about 8-9 months ago just for fun. ran fine on panther in the terminal. not my style though. even on x86 bsd I don't use text browsing. in that situation I would run fluxbox window manager and any flavor of gecko browser.

    I wasn't bothered by it at all. I don't put smiles in my posts if i'm frustrated. smillies exist to show the mood of a post so try and follow that in the future. it seemed funny to me is all.. if you were a pro snowboarder and I told you how to ride you would laugh also. ths is all I meant.

    XLR8 upgrade

    use the sonnet firmware update to use the G4. the sonnet patch is the only one that also comes with an uninstaller. they all work the same pretty much but at least with the sonnet you can easily remove it.
