heh, I dont know what most of those are in the vote. though I have konfabulator and quicksilver already. I also think I got onyx, and the computer came with graphicsconverter. I used to have pithhelmet, but then I realized I can block almost everything with just a CSS.

What are the shareware, freeware, utilities, applescripts, or whatever else that people have come across over time that they just cant live without. For example, some might say cocktail, and others might say launchbar. A list like this would be useful for Mac newbies... such as myself.

Um... maybe its because I'm not a power user, but whats wrong with finder? I wish that they'd hurry up and release some bug fixes for Tiger. I also wish that Dashboard would be more like Konfabulator. And a perminant floating stickies is a must.

er... I'd like it so that it allows me to block people, and every time a contact I deleted or moved through Adium signed on, it wouldnt ask me if I'd like to apply the change to the server, over and over and over again.

Its on the Virex disk image. I uninstalled Virex, and while I didnt have the fan problem, my CPU was running almost 100% constantly until I uninstalled it. It was that VShield.

I dont think I'll even have a use for most of the new features, like automator or smart folders. In fact, I dont even know what most new features do except for Dashboard.

Well if its true, its good news. Now the question is whether or not I want to update now or wait. I just got Tiger today in the mail, although I wont install it tonight as I have too much to do. Maybe I'll install it on Wednesday, give myself a nice 18th birthday present.

I guess I should wait for a Tiger ready non-system hog. Or just use that sudo hack posted on the "Virus on OSX?" thread... once somebody explains it to me.
