You can only transfer songs to the platform the iPod is set to. It's best to stick it to you mac and never let it stray to a PC (if you want to keep your music that is)

um... why not a mac mini? btw, if you say iMac G4, anyone should know what your talking about (the emac and iMac were the only all in one desktops to have G4's)

if you have iLife 06, you could try converting it to a pod cast and add in markers at each chapter. That would just mean a bit more work for you though

um... It's fun to blast when you have closing duty at an Apple Store. Other than that, i'd prefer something smaller and let me put it this way. if i had a choice between the iHome H5 (alarm clock/ speaker dock) and the Hi-Fi, i'd pick the alarm clock.

Yeah, If you want your music, get a black nano. you want a good cell phone? use something other that a moto. my razr looks cool and all, but i and greatly regretting it (mainly because i can't use cool stuff like salling clicker)
