ah, and i just figured out your problem too. were you starting up from your computer's install DVD or a regular copy of Jaguar? oh, and i thought corrupting panther would make it so that your system cannot see panther, so you can install jaguar.

try to corrupt panther by installing a theme... then install jaguar... lol i dunno... i think panther dosnt let you use jaguar once its on your system. did your system come with panther, if it did, then thats why it wont install.
