i own both a P4 with 512 of ram running XP, and I also own a G4 with 512 running OS X 10.1.5... in my opinion...xp is slow as dog shit, comparred to OS X.

if MacWorld NY doesn't give us a new processor it wont be at SF either, we'll have to wait a year. Most likely they are gonna push the speed up a bit and MWNY but it would be nice to see a G5 or whatever stupid codename they give it. Personally I like the "Ballbuster 1"

i think the coolest thing is the fact that they deicated an entire section ( the tab between Store & iTools )... pretty cool , shows this is most likely gonna be their new "drive" to sell machines.

The speed is deffinately there, much faster than IE in many aspects. The alert windows are very cool, with the Aqua interface in mind. I dont see a reason not to use it. The start up could be a little faster, but atleast now you dont need to go thru the whole 30 step "first run" setup. :D

Who cares what the next G4 is going to be, im hopping that they go back to the G3 architecture and breakout with a new processor ( perhaps G5? ) comming close to 2GHz or possibly passing it. We need to close the gap! NOW NOW NOW!
