oh, it's getting worse. My internet access is slow... and I had zero issues with 10.3.3... heck, I'm even using my Windows box more now for internet. I'm getting more timeouts, I can't join my own network - my network is no longer listed, it joins on it's own after about 20 minutes, and sites...

I didn't make that assessment until 3 reboots later. I've timed it, and that "step slower" is a mere second.

I was having problems with rejoining my network. No matter what I put in for WEP, it was saying wrong/error with connection to (network)... well, all of a sudden, poof! It started back working. Will say that my startups seem to be a step slower though.

My prediction... something will be said by Steve Jobs.

They have to make money somehow. Didn't Intego have a "security" product out shortly after their announcement? Anyway, unsanity.com's Paranoid Android is out now to avoid the possible URI exploits.

I'm seriously off-topic, but it's just a rumoured object. Not something that's been officially announced. So my hopes for this are non-existant. If it comes, I'll be surprised.

thanks El Diablo... that's the one that fixed it for me. well that, and my clean format and install of Panther, my restore of my iPod, and my anger that was going on about 48 hours prior to that fix.

IIRC, it was 169.00 for Mac or PC, and 199 for a CD with both MAC/PC... I got the latter, in a box.
