installed lion 10.7 okay but when I try to do a bootable copy onto a dvd I can't find anything on my hd about lion. I've looked in apps folder on hd for lion download file-shared support folder-for the installed.dmg file but can't locate any of these. what happened to lion download files, etc...

Have you tried to plug back into comp. And have iTunes restore ? DICKSTER-----

Hey, download "ONYX " app.: it's free and it has a sect. To empty the trash can. In my use of it, it trashed anything and everything I could not get rid of using all other methods. The app. Will do many other things, use with caution! DICKSTER-----

Sure wish you would get rid of the very irritating and distracting popup ads. 99% of the time I don't read them and right now I couldn't tell you what they were about!!!!! Thanks for listening DICKSTER------

Try this--go into hd, users-PREFERENCES--find the "finder.plst"---drag it to the trash can and empty trash. A new one is auto created. Restart your comp. And see if that might have fixed it. Good luck DICKSTER-----

Try this--- download " ONYX " app. ( it's free ) use google to find it. Install it. It has many tabs for usages-- app uninstaller which will rmove anything connected w/ that app. I have used it may times for lots of things, I.E.- empty trash when even force secure empty would not work...

Try to start up w/ the three finger salute, comm. Key, opt key, P & R key held down at same time. Keep held down til you have heard 3 separate chimes from the g4. Then release those keys and let comp. Reboot completely. See if that might cure the prob. Good luck DICKSTER-----

Anyone heard any rumors etc. When they are going to resolve this problem of not being able to play videos on a lot of web sites. The sites always want you to download flash player 9, but you can't because apple doesn't allow it. Personally, I am getting very ticked off at the situation...

I use duplicate annihilator/thumbnail annihilator by BRATTOO PROPAGANDA and it works quite well, it will even work in background and you can run both at same time. I have used it many times without any hitches. It sure saves a lot of work and time. DICKSTER

I got some help on this and fixed it---I reset safari app. And that fixed it-don't know why but I can play all videos now on all web sites. Go figure? DICKSTER-----
