Deleted said yahoo accounts a year ago, yet when I downloaded yahoo messenger, they were still on the yahoo ID list. Navigated to 'computer name' > 'hard drive name' > 'users' > 'user name' > 'library' > 'preferences' and deleted old names, restarted computer, names are still there. What now...

How in bloody hell can I erase old screen names and/or history on Yahoo Messenger, using a Mac? Possible? Had three names on yahoo over the years, got rid of names and messenger a year ago. Just dl'd yahoo messenger again and there were the names. Don't notice option to delete. Possible? Also...
