    iTunes 6.0.2 Released

It's hardly "spyware that sends data to Apple without our knowledge", is it? You can see the mini store being updated each time and people are acting like it's not possible to disable it.

Using Virtual PC with Intel MacBook

Went to my local Apple store today (well, it's not really local but it's the nearest one :P) because a friend wanted to buy a PowerMac. I was hoping that they'd have some demo Intel iMacs there as well but the guy said that they won't get them for about a week or so. He said that the MacBooks...

    iTunes 6.0.2 Released

I kept it on at first because I thought it might be useful but it takes so long to load data that I switched it off in the end. That, and it made the Library list ridiculously small.

    Mac OS X 10.4.4 released...

Seems to be speedier. That's always good :)

    Jobs is magical...

I was watching the coverage on CNET, refreshing the page every 10 mins or so. Every time I did so, the stock ticker on their page had climbed even higher than before.

    Virtualisation?!

If it doesn't work, someone's bound to hack it so that it does sooner or later (think of iPod Linux).

Using Virtual PC with Intel MacBook

Ok, thanks. I knew it would be slower but as the machine itself is 4x faster, it might be acceptable. The MacBooks ship in February but the new iMacs are shipping today so we'll probably know about that shortly (someone's bound to try).

No mention of Apple's pro lineup (apart from the Aperture demo). Are they saving that for NAB in April?

Using Virtual PC with Intel MacBook

Ok... need some advice. I need to use DV Rack and Ultra in the field for a project I'm doing. I need a fast machine with a long battery life that's ultra-quiet. Naturally, I thought of a Powerbook. The only problem is that DV Rack and Ultra only work on Windows. I really don't want to buy a...

Yes, the loading time is awfully slow, even on broadband.

    Another Lawsuit coming???

Nah, you can't sue them for that. It doesn't say you'll be able to send faxes with your new Mac, it just says that Mac OS X is capable of sending faxes. Edit: Ah no, wait. I've just seen the title ;)

    Itunes... who designed this?

I think he wants to drop a song file directly onto the iPod's song list but is forced to drop it into the Library and then sync the iPod with the Library.

    Need Confirmation

What's the point in buying it and not opening it if you're desperate? You'll still end up not using it for the same amount of time (and it will be worse because you'll be forced to look at the box) and there's always a risk that the shop won't take it back.

    Disk Mode

Yes, I noticed this with my Video iPod. I didn't have this with my old iPod Photo, but I was running that one with Windows.

    Windows Vista's Revolutionary New Features

The sad thing is that a lot of ignorant Windows users will think these features are actually revolutionary. Here's a frequent conversation I have with Windows users: "OMG Macs suck!" "Have you ever used a Mac?" "No." "Have you ever seen a Mac running?" "No." They'll probably think that Apple...

    iPods for the blind

Yes, a TTS thingy would be needed. The interface is perfect for blind users though. I can easily navigate it in my pocket without looking at it.

    Mac+PC iPod question.

OS X can read Windows drives but not the other way around, so if you format it for Windows you should be fine.

Apple could sell unlocked itunes phone

I'd like a phone the size of an iPod Nano. It's the thickness of the phone that bothers me, not the width.
