I'm doing a bit of organization in Mail and was wondering if there's a way to password protect emails? For instance, say I have a folder with all the various login information for logging in to different sites...ideally, I'd put them all in a folder and then either somehow password protect that...

Right now I've got a "Receipts" folder in Mail that I'd like to possibly put through Automator to convert each email to a PDF. I've been looking through Automator and just can't seem to figure out how I'd do it.

I have an Intuos 2 tablet with a 5 button mouse and tiger won't recognize that the mouse has multiple buttons so I can't set prefs for expose/dashboard for my mouse. Panther wouldn't do it either but I was able to get a different mouse from a friend that it recognized. Blah blah blah...basically...

It's not BBCode per se. It's HTML textareas in general. It's not just on forums...any other text area that uses something like that will work in other browsers except for safari. All Windows browsers support it but Firefox and Netscape seems to be the only OS X browsers that do.

Maybe I've just been taking crazy pills, but when I upgraded to 10.3.9 safari's theme went to the brushed metal look. If my memory serves me correctly...that's what it's default is. But I KNOW that before i upgraded I had a different look for my safari. Is there some place/way to change it or...

Actually I do use Suitcase and have used it's feature to find corrupted fonts but it hasn't done much for me. I have 3,000+ fonts on my system. I'm a bit wary of moving system fonts around though. I'll see about doing that though.

I'm having some killer font issues here. I've tried using FontCacheCleaner (aka Font Finagler) with no luck. Either way, stuff like the jumbled text in the attached file are happening all over the place in practically all programs.

I have a CD which I own the copyrights to and was wanting to use iTunes to create MP3's of and put on a website for a bands site I'm doing. The plan is to let visitors download that bands songs from their site but does iTunes create any sort of licensing similar to songs downloaded from iTMS so...

Are you saying that it won't let you pick from the startup disk prefs to boot to it?

This might be a little far fetched, but what about actually booting to the drive? Like duplicating exactly what iv'e got on my harddrive now and putting it on the firewire. Then from her computer just boot to it. Could that work?

I'll check those out when I get home. Also, just FYI if it matters, these problems occur AFTER I open Extensis Suitcase. None of the fonts are actually activated, but that's when problems with fonts start happening. I suspect it's some bad fonts (i've got about 3,000) but the "scan & repair"...

Well neither Finagler or that apple doc did the trick. I'm getting these odd characters all over the place in many different apps now.
