Then go to Show menu and choose Port Configurations. In here uncheck the Internal Modem choice. Now drag it (grab with mouse) and move it to bottom of list and move Ethernet to top if not there already. Uncheck any other connections you do not use like Bluetooth as well. Hope this helps...

There are some nice tests out there, also included with the OS. TechTool does mem tests as well as your Hardware test disc if you got one with the Mac. I hope the memory swap works, it seemed to help others with G5's and lots of kernels. And i'm not talking popcorn. Mikey

Both manufacturers make replacement cartridges for the Apples. I am fairly certain you can get one for the Select still as I have a client who still uses his and he has no problem getting carts for it.
