hm, sounds like the same issues, but it's actually working here no problem now. What I did was, rebooted my machine and did all the updates except the iMac update 1.1, after that, it seemed to be working fine, until it happened again, so I figure why not update it now, which I did, and it solved...

well since I've posted, I reformatted/installed Tiger.. did all the updates without the iMac 1.1 update. seemed perfectly fine for a couple hrs, then instead of it freezing all the time, my wifi connection would drop every 10 mins, or hang, and crap out. after realizing I have 10+ networks...
