When I am looking for a the tab or notation for a song i just search google using the title of the song + tab, it usually works.
I'll look out for you on MTV :)
lucasraggers, you CAN view .avi files if you have the right codec installed. For example you can view .avi files encoded with "divx" codec once you have "divx" codec installed. (http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/)
PowermacG4_450's problem is that he has an avi that was encided using the Indeo...
that would be the Indeo Video codec...version 3.2...I dont think there is a version for mac os X.
Try downloading videolan
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/macosx.html
or
mplayer
http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xpridal/mplayerosx/
that might help.....
well the error message says it all really.....
You are missing the "required compressor". you need to find out what codec was used to encode the avi, then find out if you can get it for the mac. It could be using anyone of number of different codecs......Divx ...Indeo etc
Open your .avi movie...
type in the terminal
"sudo rm -rf " (there is a space after the -rf)
then drag the folder from the trash to the terminal window.
press enter
enter the password
hopefully it should delete the folder
I think you should get it checked out by the folks at the Apple Store. If it is crashing once a day there is something wrong.
How bad was the "drop" your machine had ?
