IE chockes on java. Mozilla doesn't. fact: IE DOESN'T WORK for me.

I started a thread about this some time ago. Mail actually downloads attachments... I think that the progress bar in the activity window doesn't update. Maybe there are some problems with BIG attachments, but leaving Mail doing its thing works for me.

Agree with Ed... QT6 is public beta! no wonder it runs 80% of QT5 speed.... :rolleyes:

Mac users.. yes, strange breed. We like to feel different. We know we know better... and probably we do. Windose may work ok for some people. I use all flavours at work. It just feels horrible to me. It always did: even before I became a Mac user (I used to have an Amiga:supercool system)...

Never found IE useful. I'm set with Mozilla (and iCab for ultra light browsing), till Chimera is ready for prime time. IE offers nothing more to me. Glad to see it's not on Apple Update!

Don't think QT6 lets you rip DVD's. But, correct me if I am wrong, DivX is just a modified (hacked) version of the MPEG4 codec. Video quality should be comparable.
