Apple releases "Aperture" software for pro photographers.

Yes I have. I watched it once again just to be sure of what I'm looking at. And the *only* thing that I think is new and worthwhile over CS2/Bridge is the loupe function. I'm not saying Aperature sucks by any means. I just dont see a reason to spend money on it, when one already has CS2...

Apple releases "Aperture" software for pro photographers.

I hate to constantly nay-say, but I doubt Aperature will be able to handle 500-700 Raw files from professional cameras "on the fly" And its not half the price of CS2. And I still say Bridge does the job that Aperature looks like its supposed to do but with a lot less flash ;) That being...

Apple releases "Aperture" software for pro photographers.

Personally I have no need or interest in this application, mostly because I already have all these features in CS2... That being said, if this hits a price point that is cheaper than CS2, I can see it being a good option for a lot of people. So it's cool, I just wont be needing it ;)

    Coudal vs Apple

I've seen the commercial multiple times on tv, I don't see where the drama Gizmodo is looking for. MAYBE they hired the same people? eh?

    Someone Say new Powerbooks

Price wise, maybe. But utility wise, not really. A lot of shuffle users (or at least me) use it as a "jump drive" as well. I could see them dropping the 512mb version and making the 1gb version 99 dollars. I think if they managed to get a small lcd onto it (one that purely scrolls song info, 2...

Hmmm I might be getting a black iPod, its way too sexy. Anyone have any clue on how the photo thing works? do you have to go through iphoto? If so, how do pc users take advantage of it? Personally I couldnt care less about the video options. Im not gonna be looking at that screen for that...

    5G iPods Soon?

I'm not arguing its a fake, see the smilies. But I think what fryke is talking about holds some truth. IF they did do a video ipod, with a serious screen, I would think it would look similar to this. And, I don't think it'd become a two handed device, ipods arent that heavy, you hold in in...

Lower than expected iPod Nano sales

No offense but tubes and covers and cases are no substitution for actual color choices. And personally the tubes take away from the elegance of the ipod design. :p Anyways, glad to see sales are strong, but I'm still wary.

Lower than expected iPod Nano sales

I don't know if the sales are good or not, conflicting reports etc... but anyways IF they are lower, I think it has to do with the fact that it lacks color options... i think that was a really big selling point for the mini, personalization for the everyday folk.

Mac OS X on intel PCs?

Installed osx86 on VMWare this morning, rather meh as far as speed goes, and multiple items crashing, generally in related to things requiring Quartz effects... I will attempt to install natively on my PC this weekend, dual booting with windows via a Linux booter...
