Odd I'm using a Dell right now, seems to work fine. Sure you weren't using one built with cheap parts? Try not to paint a company as bad just because you had bad personal experiences. You wouldn't want PC users doing the same to you because they had a bad experience with a first gen iMac...

FWIW I have two Macs, two iPods and an iSight and one PC, so please, no one assume I'm a PC fanboy (don't know how many n00bs there are around here, so I gotta get that out of the way ;)).

Funny, my XP box has no spyware, viruses or trojans, hasn't crashed since I've had it and cost half as much as a comparably fast powermac... Windows doesn't suck, if the user doesn't suck. End of story.

I'm already organized, so I really have no use for it. I tend to just use it as an app launcher *shrugs*

I get the same thing, (fwiw I will be moving this to design) on my letter heads, resume etc etc, only Preview on mac shows it, Acrobat etc shows it correctly.

AFAIK the top of the line G5 is comparible, not leaps and bounds better than the top of the line x86 chips. Something that you guys have to keep in mind. Where as OSX has more cutting edge features, Windows is still more compatible with various hardware and has to continue to do so. I have no doubt that if Microsoft controlled the hardware that their OS was run on it'd have similar if not better...

i would love to see apple expand on its ipod photo by increasing its screen size, and making it more friendly as a digital wallet/multimedia player...
