Heya Is there anyway of comunicating between macs and pc's on a network using ichat&rendezvous??

Nope didnt work, Still no web connection, same thing comes up (self assigned IP Number) which should be assigned by the isp not my comp yeah? also its a 169.xxx...etc number instead of a 192.xxx..etc number, 192 is a web ip- yeah?so why am i assigned a 169 number???

hey ive heard you can use X11 to run Wintel os's or wintel apps....is this true? how is this done? i used to use Connectix in OS9 to emulate 95&98, but ive sinced switched to osX and i dont wanna reboot everytime iwanna use it& as a broke student cant afford the new connectix suite for osX...

it aint a big prob but its buggin me, i never use caps lock when im writin, always the shift key to get uppercase letters, but now for some reason when i press 'shift+x' i get nothing, where as usual when i press 'shift+p' i get P..... ...................................... oh and another...

iTunes wont accept wma's,...... im downloading hijack, but i know it aint gonna work, audion wont stay open, got the newest version must be a conflict somewhere, and microsoft windows media player wont play a load of them because it says some of them are corrupted even though they arent....

what about streaming & providing Steve Jobs Expo speaches in downloadable mp3's ....... ?? its somethin i thought they would have had especially with the release of the iPod, ost people are still on dial-up connections which make it annoying to watch the jerkey footage and too slow to watch it...

the systems are locked to prevent you installing stuff, the version of quicktime is quite recent but it doesnt have the plug-in in MS Exploiter, and cant right click & download them either, does anyone know of any other sites other than apple.com that provide the mov.'s?.......

EXCELLENT,THANKS EVERYONE :) Oh btw, is there any way of viewing those quicktime movs on apple.com on this pc?? damn thing is on a network <broadband is a god send> and Internet explorer never has the proper quicktime drivers installed, all the machines have quite recent versions of quicktime...
