actually I'm using Mac OS 9.2.2 the drive is Slave to an IBM 60GB hard Drive on IDE bus 1

I just bought a new sony crx230 cdrw. I could burn in toast fine but when I press the "eject" command on screen or the "eject" menu my mac (beige G3) freezes completle. I cannot even move the mouse un the screen. any ideas?

UPDATE! The CD-RW is dead, or dying. Now it does not recognizes any cd inserted, It does not appear on the finder, and Toast says "there's no CD in the Writer" so, I'm taking it to technical service.... poor baby :(

Cheryl, I did exactly as you told me... again (because i did it once, and for a while it worked) but now no icons appear on the desktop and i still cant print... any ideas? HP says i have to ditch ATM and Suitcase, but if I dont have that ¿would I still have smooth characters on large size font?

Brand New Deskjet, System 9.2 iMac 350 (CRT) reeeeealy easy to install bla bla bla..... setup, restart.... the printer icon appears on the desktop... 10 seconds later anotherone appeared 10 seconds later anotherone and so on. I went to the bathroom, returned and I had 234 printer...

do you want profit? tell apple to go fully international I live in Argentina, we have only "Macintosh Authorized Resellers" only and the cost of a new Mac here is more than 140% the cost of the same mac in the US, and they even come 3 or 4 months late. The cost of a Mac here is fixed by Apple...
