usually when a pixel burns out its a dot, not a line, that is seen on the screen. I would say that it is a software problem.... not so sure though but i can't really think that a perfect straight line of pixels were burnt out AT THE SAME TIME.

notice the "GALL SINISE" name on the name section below to the right. I couldnt repair it but that was not the worst over the space module there was a little quote that said "Hustion, we have a problem" luckily, with my very poor photoshop skills I could wipe it out. :)

I have almost 3000 midi background tracks they are quite good.... if played with the correct sampler and there are some stores that sell cds called "you sing the hits of ...." let me know if you want my midi files...

this is a sad... VERY sad true the PPCs were the first processors to go beyond the 300MHz limit and since then they were left behind... in those days nobody said this kind of things they simply knew they had the fastest AND the nicest machine on their desktops.... now we all say we have...

its a great machine! you have stereo audio and video in and out ports.... I've made some good (and very small 360*240 or so) movies in it. great deal. but you can't run 9.2.2 just 9.1 even though it's reeealy slow

just a suggestion.... I recently did the same thing you did (i mean buying a CDRW) and I too have a beige G3 I had the same problem that was solved when I hooked the CDRW to the first connector of the IDE cable and switching it to be master in the IDE chain. try changing configurations on both...

Okay, here's the deal. I have a G3/300 (the processor was bought at macsales.com) I boosted it up to 366 MHz by moving the jumpers around. I want to take it to even faster speeds... is there a limit? can I hook uo 1 or 2 processor coolers to reduce the processor heat and thus allowing it to...

ahhhh! but the i.mic is waaay better as a digital sound input.... and thay claim is capable of doing 24 bit depth.... thats plenty more dynamic range than the mere 16 bits of the built in analog I/O

Does anyone know if I can plug a Griffin iMic to my Beige G3 throug a MacAlly PCI USB adapter? I read somewhere that I couldn't but, what better than to ask a huge lot of macintosh fans, right?
