I made a separate RSS folder for the Book Marks bar and save the feeds I want to that in the same way as any other site. I just went to the sites I wanted from netnewswire, clicked the RSS in Safari address bar and saved in my RSS folder. Bit slow but I don't have many.

Just left mine alone while indexing, saved time & patience. No slow down in Eposé or anything else here. slightly faster if anything. (Archive & Install)

Just did an Archive and Install from Panther to Tiger last night. (New Zealand) Had to reload the Mouse & Printer/Scanner Drivers but that's all. Opened Mail & it imported all the boxes & messages fine. No problems here. I did run repair permissions first though.

Hope it's true, Just comparing the eMac with the mini for a friend who wants to switch ~ 3 versus 2 X USB, 2 versus 1 X Firewire. The main decider, the eMac has Audio in the mini doesn't. The eMac also has Video out. Go eMac :-)

I use Safari most of the time but have Shiira as another option. I use FireFox on the XP box but wasn't that happy with it on Mac. Shiira will pickup all Safari bookmarks and works well, not keen on the default icons but others are available. Great to have choices. :-)...

I love my eMac too & would get another one. My elderly neighbor is thinking seriously about getting one too, grandkids can wreak havoc on anything. The eMac with it's CRT display is a darn sight safer for kids than a mini would ever be with all the wires & USB hubs the mini needs for printers...

If you know and have typed the first few letters of a word but not enough for the built in spell checker just hit F5 or option esc. You will get a list of options :) Works in most cocoa programs.

I haven't found an easy way so I have just kept copies of all my fonts in folders. If you have already installed them it's easy enough to copy the fonts from your user library font file back into folders for back up.. Have fun
