    Future PowerPC beyond 3.2 ghz?

It would be really nice if Apple and Microsoft really teamed up for once. And it would be nicer to play those xbox 360 games on your Apple G5.

    iPod vs Mobile/Cell Phones

Bill gates recently said these words to a German news paper. "As good as Apple may be, I don't believe the success of the iPod is sustainable in the long run," he said in an interview published in Thursday's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung." Source: macrumors.com | cnn.com While I...

Apple or Windows? Which is better?

Can you tell me why windows is better than a mac other than your own personal reasons? One reason why mac may be better for some is that it has style. Buying a mac is like buying a Ferarri and crapping on all those little bombed up pices of crap you see driving around. Buying a windows is...

    iTunes Video Store

Im already over renting DVD's from a video shop. I've gone back to VHS. DVD's are a real drag once you nearly reach the end and then all of a sudden the disc wont read. That sux bad. I like that iPod video idea though. Bring it on.

Yet another Personal Freedom Thread (was: School bans iPods)

Ok guys so iPods should never be used in class, that's obvious. What if im at lunch? i do not see anything wrong with that. Banning in class, yes. Banning in the playground no! if they bann iPods. Then i say Bann books in the playgrounds. Students do not need to be TOLD what to do with there...

Yet another Personal Freedom Thread (was: School bans iPods)

I think at the end of the day is is entirely the right of the individual to be social or not, weather at school at home or the like. However i do believe there is a use for the iPod in schools as well. The iPod can also be use as an external hardrive, and students can save there homework at...

Yet another Personal Freedom Thread (was: School bans iPods)

The teenagers' gadget of choice, the iPod, has been banned by a Sydney private school because they lead to "social isolation". The principal of International Grammar School, Kerrie Murphy, said her decision to ban the palm-sized stereos, which can hold up to 10,000 songs, coincided with the...

    New Newton? *yes please*

That could be a great idea. But i think an iPod is an iPod a Newton is the answer to the questions between a laptop and a PDA i just wish so bad that it was updated or seriously reconsidered as an Apple product, even though the 2100 still out performs all or most of the latest PDA's today. I...

    New Newton? *yes please*

The Newton 2000 & 2100 models accually came optionally with a nice sized seperate keyboard. The flip pannel that covers the screen was accually used as the stand to turn the Newton into a monitor. The newton 2000 & 2100 was perfect for those who wanted to use the features of a PDA but could...

How big a flop has the iPod photo been so far

I reckon! Why whould you spend that much cash and not have a camera built in? at least the iPod photo should have a camera. it's user experience is just "logicly incorrect" not enough people have them to even enjoy the current experience. Even though i nearly bought one because it was colour...

    Apple's recent lawsuits

"But how would fake plans differ from real plans?" Could you imaging if it was somthing totally not apple to release? like a skateboard or a dog kennal somthing that the person doing this would wonder for a moment but would they let it out, an example would be an apple branded television or...

    Apple's recent lawsuits

I think Apple management should let out a few decoy product plans to find exactly who the culprit is. Mabey in groups of three or four and see whos rumor spills the most. This would be a good management excercise too.. it would of course have to be close to a top level and then worked down to a...

    Apple's recent lawsuits

Very true at the moment... But i know that in some well developed countries this law is being discussed and argued that by owning a computer and having a unique assigned ip/mac address that you can be legally bound to any act of click-throughs etc. some of these clauses are also bound im sure in...

    Apple's recent lawsuits

What about sending anonymous messages from an internet cafe through a form? how the hell are they gonna find you then?
