Could be related to any USB devices you have connected. The Hardware Test found on the included CD/DVD is always a first step. Use it to boot up then run the test to see if anything shows up. Then consider disconnecting any USB devices and reconnecting them one by one to see if the problem...

Definitely a G4 speed upgrade and then on to dual cores. G5s are just too hot to run in PowerBooks.

I think some cable wrap would help quite a bit. You can find some at any automotive or electronics store. This is what I'm talking about. Or, maybe it's time to get a new iMac G5 with bluetooth factory installed. ;)
