Following the upgrade to 10.4 opening or composing mail in the new mail.app closed the application immediately. Uninstalling PGP V9 Beta resolved the problem. Attempted reinstall (this worked for Little Snitch which had also failed) and produced the same result. PGP V9 Beta not compatible...
